Музыка, танцы, и сумасшедший праздник солидарности пользователей информационных сетей!
1 мая мы выйдем на улицу, чтобы заявить: мы – пираты, потому что обмениваемся бесплатно книгами, фильмами, научными открытиями. Мы - пираты, потому что считаем, что информация в области культуры и науки должна быть доступна всем. Мы выражаем поддержку пиратам всего мира: от создателей торрент-трекера Pirate Bay до сомалийских «морских разбойников». Первые свободно распространяют информацию, вторые отвоевывают море у европейского флота, который незаконно вылавливает в прибрежных водах рыбу и сбрасывает туда радиоактивные отходы. Всех их называют пиратами, но все они, на самом деле, борются за свою свободу. Поэтому пират – это звучит гордо! Поэтому быть пиратом – круто!
1 мая в 10:00-10:30 мы собираемся у БКЗ «Октябрьский». Приходите, приносите музыкальные инструменты, плакаты, музыку, программы, тексты – все, что считаете нужным и чем хотите поделиться с другими!

Я, конечно, поддерживаю бухту, но сравнивать ее с сомалийскими пиратами как-то неправильно.
От ИТ-пиратства никто не страдает.

И где обещанные свобода и равенство? То есть со свободой слова вы не считаетесь и комментарии с критикой в ваш адрес молча удаляете?

Никто не страдает? Корпорации(возможно одни и теже)теряют прибыли в обоих случаях, только от ИТ-пиратства они защитились законом. А у берегов Сомали они ваще беспределят и плевать им на экологию и жизнь аборигенов. Формы борьбы разные, а специфика одна и таже.

ну вот, еще один. корпорации ничего не теряют, они не получают то, что получили бы, если бы я что-то у них купил, а не скачал бесплатно.
_Убытков_ они не несут не копейки. А возможную прибыль не получают, да. Но большинство качающих за бесплатно наверняка не купило бы то, что они качают, если бы возможности скачать не было.
